After completing my studies with Hein Sanderink at the Fontys Academy of Art, I quickly began teaching guitar.
Dissatisfied with existing guitar methods, I developed Guitar Train.
My students enjoyed it and improved their skills on the guitar in a playful way.
It was then time to make Guitar Train available to everyone.
Together with graphic designer Inge Vos, we founded the music publishing company 6stringmusic to publish the guitar books independently.
Initially, the books were sold only in the Netherlands, but now Guitar Train is also widely used outside of the Netherlands.
In addition to publishing guitar books, we also offer guitar lessons in Eindhoven.

This combination ensures that the lesson books we publish are thoroughly tested in practice, providing a guarantee for a fun and effective learning journey for the student.
